OBS Cam — phone camera for OBS over Wi-Fi
Published on Google Play as OBS Cam and on the App Store as OBS Phone Cam. Same app, different store name; this policy covers both.

The short version: OBS Cam does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. Your video and audio travel only across your own local network, directly from your phone to the computer that opens the stream. There are no accounts, no analytics, no crash reporting, and no advertising.
None. OBS Cam contains no analytics, crash-reporting, advertising, or tracking software of any kind, and it never contacts servers operated by us or by third parties. We have no way to see who uses the app or how.
The app asks for camera and microphone access so it can stream live video and audio to devices on your local network that open the app's web page, such as an OBS Studio Browser Source. The stream is live only: OBS Cam does not record, save, or upload any video, audio, or images. When you stop streaming or close the app, the camera and microphone are released.
While streaming, OBS Cam runs a small web server on your phone and, when enabled, answers local name lookups (mDNS) so the stream can be found by a name such as obscam.local. Video and audio are exchanged peer to peer over WebRTC between your phone and the viewing computer. Nothing is routed through the internet.
The stream and its control interface use plain HTTP on your local network. Any device on the same network can open the stream or adjust the camera unless you set an access token in the app's Settings, which we recommend on shared or public networks.
Your preferences (stream quality, network name, port, and an optional access token) are stored only on your phone so they are remembered between launches. They are never sent anywhere. Uninstalling the app removes them.
OBS Cam does not share data with anyone, because it does not collect any. The app does not include third-party software development kits that gather data.
OBS Cam is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from anyone.
If the app's behaviour ever changes in a way that affects your privacy, this page will be updated and the effective date above will change.
